We are so excited that April is here! This month we are offering $10 soil testing for your lawn. But why is soil testing important, and more importantly, what is soil testing?
Soil Testing is a process by which elements (phosphorus potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, sulfur, manganese, copper and zinc) are chemically removed from the soil and measured for their “plant available” content within the sample. Basically we test the soil to make sure it’s rich in enough nutrients to allow for plant growth. So why is that important to do now? Well below are our reasons why soil testing this month is so important!
- The amount of nutrients present in your soil determines what type of plants, grass and produce can be planted.
- Soil testing gives you an opportunity to fix any problems there may be with your soil in enough time to still plant those beautiful flowers you want.
